I grew up on a tiny island in New England. When I was a kid, everyone called me Posse. I loved to ride my bike down steep hills, and I never wanted to brush my hair. In fourth grade, I co-authored a story with my friend Bunty. It was called The Weirdos. In sixth grade, I was the only girl on the boys basketball team. After graduating from Wheaton College and the National Theater Institute, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. I spent many years working as an actress. I appeared on the TV show Grey’s Anatomy and starred in the film December Ends. I now live in New England with my two sons. My favorite time to write is early in the morning.
